When your best friend calls you up and says her wedding venue closed last minute, what do you do? You open a wedding venue. I have so many people to thank for making this happen but Ill start with my best friend. Thank you for trusting me and believing in me.
I have been in the wedding industry for years as a photographer. For the past several years I have dreamed of opening what I felt was the ultimate wedding venue. Whatever my couples desired, their utopian wedding, I would make happen. This past Saturday I held my first wedding at Idle Hour Farm in Middletown, RI. The storm broke, the sun pulled through and we had ourselves one of the most beautiful weddings I've ever witnessed. The ceremony was truly magical, and I cried my eyes out watching my best friend dance with her husband and son.
Thank you to my business partner who listened to me ramble about this dream and worked SO HARD with me to make it happen. I wouldn't want to do this with anyone else. Thank you to ALL our vendors named at the bottom of this page. I would recommend every one of them again and again. And thank you to my boyfriend who helped physically and mentally make this dream happen.
Years of dreaming, months of planning, days of preparing. Here is a sneak peek at some of our images from this wedding!
