Have you ever met someone and instantly become friends or even family? That’s how it was when I stepped foot into Crossfit Prototype in Westboro, Ma. Mike is the owner of CFP and the entire gym has some type of bond I have never been able to find again. Most of you know, I went through a severe car accident a while back, and without missing a beat the gym sent me flowers. Once it came time to heal and learn how to walk again, Mike and the other trainers worked one on one with me to get my strength back. I don’t think Mike truly understands how that gym, that family, got me through some of the toughest times both physically and mentally. As for Erin, there isn’t a girl I know that has a more infectious personality than her. When you are around her you can’t help but laugh and smile. The heart that both of these two have is why they are so perfect for one another.
As expected, Erin and Mike’s wedding was the quintessential Cape Cod wedding. From her glass bottle seating chart to her hashtag #collettesonthecape, there wasn’t a single oyster left at that raw bar. Although it rained off and on throughout the day, the sky opened up right before sunset and we got the most beautiful light right before the reception started. There were more laughs than tears during the speeches and the party went well on into the night. I know Mike and Erin will have an amazing life together, and I am so happy to have been a part of their biggest adventure yet.
Huge shout out to this amazing group of vendors for absolutely killing it at this wedding!
