Top Portrait and Lifestyle Photos of 2018

WOW! I can’t even begin to describe what an incredible year 2018 was for me! Three years ago, when I started doing my top blogs it was much different. The first year, I did top 100 portrait and wedding photos in ONE blog. Last year I did two separate blogs, one for top 100 in portrait and one for top 100 in wedding and engagement. Well, this year I spent WEEKS narrowing down. This year, lets just say I have well over 100 favorites for both categories. It’s not a bad problem to have! This is such a great time for me as I get to go back and see my ENTIRE year at once. Photos that I did last February get brought back to life and I get to feel the way I felt with my clients in that moment again! Photographs are an incredible gift and I am so glad these clients will have these tangible memories forever. Thank each and everyone of you for an INCREDIBLE year! Check out my favorites from babies, maternity, seniors family and everything in-between below and see if you see any familiar faces!

Maddox Turns ONE

Bre has been one of my best friends for nearly a decade now. I distinctly remember dropping everything I was doing, 1 year and 9ish months ago, when she called to tell me she was pregnant. We may have traded champagne bottles for milk bottles but this joy that has been brought into her life is worth it a million times over. And who are we kidding we still enjoy a glass of bubbly while playing with the babes. Bre and Matt are the best parents this little boy could ever ask for. It has been so wonderful to photograph and watch this family grow together the past year. I can't believe Maddox is ONE. Happy Birthday Maddox!

Valentina & Teddy Take the Stage

When I say Ive been photographing these two little girls forever, I quite literally mean since before they were born! Watching Teddy and V grow into the most bright and bubbly little personalities has been amazing. At our latest session I came over to their house to "hang out" during their school vacation. Immediately the girls were playing dress up and grabbing the microphones. Teddy was singing Frozen at the top of her lungs and Valentina quite enjoyed taking photos with her camera (a girl after my own heart). A couple pig piles -on each other and on me- and we were laughing the whole shoot. Being able to capture the true epitome of their personalities is why I love my job. These are the moments you want to share with your family and friends. These are the photographs you want to have on your walls so you can remember them as they once were.
